TITLE: GCN CIRCULAR NUMBER: 34232 SUBJECT: GRB 230723A: Fermi GBM Final Real-time Localization DATE: 23/07/23 04:49:14 GMT FROM: Fermi GBM Team at MSFC/Fermi-GBM The Fermi GBM team reports the detection of a likely SHORT GRB At 04:38:43 UT on 23 Jul 2023, the Fermi Gamma-ray Burst Monitor (GBM) triggered and located GRB 230723A (trigger 711779928.466758 / 230723194). The on-ground calculated location, using the Fermi GBM trigger data, is RA = 21.0, Dec = -71.2 (J2000 degrees, equivalent to J2000 01h 23m, -71d 12'), with a statistical uncertainty of 4.8 degrees. The angle from the Fermi LAT boresight is 147.0 degrees.
