The Fermi GBM team reports the detection of a likely SHORT GRB

At 01:10:29 UT on 24 Jul 2023, the Fermi Gamma-ray Burst Monitor (GBM) triggered and located GRB 230724A (trigger 711853834.451348 / 230724049).

The on-ground calculated location, using the Fermi GBM trigger data, is RA = 278.4, Dec = 22.7 (J2000 degrees, equivalent to J2000 18h 33m, 22d 41'), with a statistical uncertainty of 39.4 degrees.

The angle from the Fermi LAT boresight is 135.0 degrees.
