TITLE: GCN CIRCULAR NUMBER: 34255 SUBJECT: GRB 230725A: Fermi GBM Final Real-time Localization DATE: 23/07/25 10:43:21 GMT FROM: Fermi GBM Team at MSFC/Fermi-GBM The Fermi GBM team reports the detection of a likely SHORT GRB At 10:32:50 UT on 25 Jul 2023, the Fermi Gamma-ray Burst Monitor (GBM) triggered and located GRB 230725A (trigger 711973975.87891 / 230725439). The on-ground calculated location, using the Fermi GBM trigger data, is RA = 207.2, Dec = 4.9 (J2000 degrees, equivalent to J2000 13h 48m, 4d 54'), with a statistical uncertainty of 4.5 degrees. The angle from the Fermi LAT boresight is 31.0 degrees.
