The Fermi GBM team reports the detection of a likely LONG GRB

At 09:28:32 UT on 12 Aug 2023, the Fermi Gamma-ray Burst Monitor (GBM) triggered and located GRB 230812A (trigger 713525317.441558 / 230812395).

The on-ground calculated location, using the Fermi GBM trigger data, is RA = 294.2, Dec = -32.2 (J2000 degrees, equivalent to J2000 19h 36m, -32d 12'), with a statistical uncertainty of 4.5 degrees.

The angle from the Fermi LAT boresight is 71.0 degrees.
