TITLE: GCN CIRCULAR NUMBER: 34784 SUBJECT: GRB 230930A: Fermi GBM Final Real-time Localization DATE: 23/09/30 22:11:01 GMT FROM: Fermi GBM Team at MSFC/Fermi-GBM The Fermi GBM team reports the detection of a likely LONG GRB At 22:00:25 UT on 30 Sep 2023, the Fermi Gamma-ray Burst Monitor (GBM) triggered and located GRB 230930A (trigger 717804030.135796 / 230930917). The on-ground calculated location, using the Fermi GBM trigger data, is RA = 105.6, Dec = -9.2 (J2000 degrees, equivalent to J2000 07h 02m, -9d 11'), with a statistical uncertainty of 6.8 degrees. The angle from the Fermi LAT boresight is 70.0 degrees.
