TITLE: GCN CIRCULAR NUMBER: 34813 SUBJECT: GRB 231012A: Fermi GBM Final Real-time Localization DATE: 23/10/12 05:42:50 GMT FROM: Fermi GBM Team at MSFC/Fermi-GBM The Fermi GBM team reports the detection of a likely SHORT GRB At 05:32:20 UT on 12 Oct 2023, the Fermi Gamma-ray Burst Monitor (GBM) triggered and located GRB 231012A (trigger 718781545.556372 / 231012231). The on-ground calculated location, using the Fermi GBM trigger data, is RA = 29.6, Dec = 19.7 (J2000 degrees, equivalent to J2000 01h 58m, 19d 41'), with a statistical uncertainty of 4.8 degrees. The angle from the Fermi LAT boresight is 113.0 degrees.
