TITLE: GCN CIRCULAR NUMBER: 34814 SUBJECT: GRB 231012A: Fermi GBM Final Real-time Localization DATE: 23/10/12 17:05:29 GMT FROM: Fermi GBM Team at MSFC/Fermi-GBM The Fermi GBM team reports the detection of a likely LONG GRB At 16:54:51 UT on 12 Oct 2023, the Fermi Gamma-ray Burst Monitor (GBM) triggered and located GRB 231012A (trigger 718822496.021004 / 231012705). The on-ground calculated location, using the Fermi GBM trigger data, is RA = 144.5, Dec = 64.7 (J2000 degrees, equivalent to J2000 09h 37m, 64d 42'), with a statistical uncertainty of 10.7 degrees. The angle from the Fermi LAT boresight is 155.0 degrees.
