TITLE: GCN CIRCULAR NUMBER: 34907 SUBJECT: GRB 231030A: Fermi GBM Final Real-time Localization DATE: 23/10/30 00:18:11 GMT FROM: Fermi GBM Team at MSFC/Fermi-GBM The Fermi GBM team reports the detection of a likely LONG GRB At 00:07:34 UT on 30 Oct 2023, the Fermi Gamma-ray Burst Monitor (GBM) triggered and located GRB 231030A (trigger 720317259.119418 / 231030005). The on-ground calculated location, using the Fermi GBM trigger data, is RA = 46.8, Dec = 49.1 (J2000 degrees, equivalent to J2000 03h 07m, 49d 06'), with a statistical uncertainty of 16.3 degrees. The angle from the Fermi LAT boresight is 71.0 degrees.
