TITLE: GCN CIRCULAR NUMBER: 34969 SUBJECT: GRB 231108A: Fermi GBM Final Real-time Localization DATE: 23/11/08 21:14:37 GMT FROM: Fermi GBM Team at MSFC/Fermi-GBM The Fermi GBM team reports the detection of a likely LONG GRB At 21:03:09 UT on 8 Nov 2023, the Fermi Gamma-ray Burst Monitor (GBM) triggered and located GRB 231108A (trigger 721170194.442402 / 231108877). The on-ground calculated location, using the Fermi GBM trigger data, is RA = 104.8, Dec = 50.5 (J2000 degrees, equivalent to J2000 06h 59m, 50d 30'), with a statistical uncertainty of 18.6 degrees. The angle from the Fermi LAT boresight is 102.0 degrees.
