The Fermi GBM team reports the detection of a likely LONG GRB

At 09:40:34 UT on 16 Nov 2023, the Fermi Gamma-ray Burst Monitor (GBM) triggered and located GRB 231116A (trigger 721820439.761364 / 231116403).

The on-ground calculated location, using the Fermi GBM trigger data, is RA = 24.6, Dec = -36.8 (J2000 degrees, equivalent to J2000 01h 38m, -36d 47'), with a statistical uncertainty of 11.2 degrees.

The angle from the Fermi LAT boresight is 23.0 degrees.
