The Fermi GBM team reports the detection of a likely SHORT GRB

At 02:44:04 UT on 23 Nov 2023, the Fermi Gamma-ray Burst Monitor (GBM) triggered and located GRB 231123A (trigger 722400249.776634 / 231123114).

The on-ground calculated location, using the Fermi GBM trigger data, is RA = 83.8, Dec = -19.6 (J2000 degrees, equivalent to J2000 05h 35m, -19d 36'), with a statistical uncertainty of 9.2 degrees.

The angle from the Fermi LAT boresight is 95.0 degrees.
