The Fermi GBM team reports the detection of a likely SHORT GRB

At 18:56:37 UT on 6 Dec 2023, the Fermi Gamma-ray Burst Monitor (GBM) triggered and located GRB 231206B (trigger 723581802.598578 / 231206789).

The on-ground calculated location, using the Fermi GBM trigger data, is RA = 41.9, Dec = 3.9 (J2000 degrees, equivalent to J2000 02h 47m, 3d 53'), with a statistical uncertainty of 8.3 degrees.

The angle from the Fermi LAT boresight is 108.0 degrees.
