The Fermi GBM team reports the detection of a likely LONG GRB

At 22:12:10 UT on 2 Jan 2024, the Fermi Gamma-ray Burst Monitor (GBM) triggered and located GRB 240102B (trigger 725926335.090798 / 240102925).

The on-ground calculated location, using the Fermi GBM trigger data, is RA = 338.1, Dec = 46.5 (J2000 degrees, equivalent to J2000 22h 32m, 46d 30'), with a statistical uncertainty of 1.0 degrees.

The angle from the Fermi LAT boresight is 3.0 degrees.
