TITLE: GCN CIRCULAR NUMBER: 35540 SUBJECT: GRB 240115B: Fermi GBM Final Real-time Localization DATE: 24/01/15 16:56:08 GMT FROM: Fermi GBM Team at MSFC/Fermi-GBM The Fermi GBM team reports the detection of a likely LONG GRB At 16:45:37 UT on 15 Jan 2024, the Fermi Gamma-ray Burst Monitor (GBM) triggered and located GRB 240115B (trigger 727029942.62324 / 240115698). The on-ground calculated location, using the Fermi GBM trigger data, is RA = 188.3, Dec = -34.8 (J2000 degrees, equivalent to J2000 12h 33m, -34d 47'), with a statistical uncertainty of 4.7 degrees. The angle from the Fermi LAT boresight is 98.0 degrees.
