The Fermi GBM team reports the detection of a likely LONG GRB

At 00:03:18 UT on 10 Jun 2024, the Fermi Gamma-ray Burst Monitor (GBM) triggered and located GRB 240610A (trigger 739670603.746726 / 240610002).

The on-ground calculated location, using the Fermi GBM trigger data, is RA = 294.4, Dec = 9.2 (J2000 degrees, equivalent to J2000 19h 37m, 9d 11'), with a statistical uncertainty of 3.2 degrees.

The angle from the Fermi LAT boresight is 69.0 degrees.
