The Fermi GBM team reports the detection of a likely LONG GRB

At 11:10:47 UT on 19 Jun 2024, the Fermi Gamma-ray Burst Monitor (GBM) triggered and located GRB 240619B (trigger 740488252.364386 / 240619466).

The on-ground calculated location, using the Fermi GBM trigger data, is RA = 116.0, Dec = 18.4 (J2000 degrees, equivalent to J2000 07h 44m, 18d 23'), with a statistical uncertainty of 20.9 degrees.

The angle from the Fermi LAT boresight is 68.0 degrees.
