Markwardt (GSFC/UMD), D. M. Palmer (LANL),\nT. Sakamoto (GSFC/UMBC), J. Tueller (GSFC), T. N. Ukwatta (GWU)\n(i.e. the Swift-BAT team):\n \nUsing the data set from T-239 to T+963 sec from recent telemetry downlinks,\nwe report further analysis of BAT GRB 100508A (trigger #421386)\n(Margutti, et al., GCN Circ. 10728). The BAT ground-calculated position is\nRA, Dec = 76.263, -20.744 deg, which is \n RA(J2000) = 05h 05m 03.1s \n Dec(J2000) = -20d 44' 36.8\" \nwith an uncertainty of 2.2 arcmin, (radius, sys+stat, 90% containment).\nThe partial coding was 70%.\n \nThe mask-weighted light curve shows a broad peak starting at ~T-25 sec\nand ending around T+200 sec with a very weak tail out to around T+400 sec.\nT90 (15-350 keV) is 52 +- 10 sec (estimated error including systematics).\n \nThe time-averaged spectrum from T-8 to T+59 sec is best fit by a simple\npower-law model. The power law index of the time-averaged spectrum is\n1.23 +- 0.25. The fluence in the 15-150 keV band is 7.0 +- 1.1 x 10^-7 erg/cm2.\nThe 1-sec peak photon flux measured from T+6.04 sec in the 15-150 keV band\nis 0.4 +- 0.2 ph/cm2/sec. All the quoted errors are at the 90% confidence\nlevel. One small caveate: the fluence and peak flux should be taken\nas lower limits given that there are three 2-3 sec gaps (between 7 and 20 sec)\nin the event-by-event data received on the ground.\n \nThe results of the batgrbproduct analysis are available at\nhttp://gcn.gsfc.nasa.gov/notices_s/421386/BA/",
