Vetere (PSU) report on behalf of the Swift Team:\n\nAt 21:38:26 UT, the Swift Burst Alert Telescope (BAT) triggered and\nlocated GRB 100614A (trigger=424716).  Swift slewed immediately to the burst. \nThe BAT on-board calculated location is \nRA, Dec 263.519, +49.227, which is \n   RA(J2000)  =  17h 34m 05s\n   Dec(J2000) = +49d 13' 36\"\nwith an uncertainty of 3 arcmin (radius, 90% containment, including \nsystematic uncertainty).  As is typical for image triggers, the TDRSS\nlightcurve does not show anything significant. \n\nThe XRT began observing the field at 21:40:39.1 UT, 133.0 seconds after\nthe BAT trigger. Using promptly downlinked data we find a bright,\nfading, uncatalogued X-ray source with an enhanced position: RA, Dec\n263.4992, 49.2347 which is equivalent to:\n   RA(J2000)  = 17h 33m 59.81s\n   Dec(J2000) = +49d 14' 05.1\"\nwith an uncertainty of 2.1 arcseconds (radius, 90% containment). This\nposition may be improved as more data are received; the latest position\nis available at http://www.swift.ac.uk/sper. \n\nA power-law fit to a spectrum formed from promptly downlinked event\ndata gives a column density in excess of the Galactic value (2.2e+20\ncm^-2, Kalberla et al. 2005), with an excess column of 1.3\n(+1.11/-1.03) x 10^21 cm^-2 (90% confidence). \n\nThe initial flux in the 0.1 s image was 4.41e-08 erg cm^-2 s^-1 (0.2-10\nkeV). \n\nUVOT took a finding chart exposure of nominal 250 seconds with the U filter\nstarting 873 seconds after the BAT trigger.  No white observations were taken\nbecause there is a V = 7.4 star in the UVOT field of view.  The UVOT image covers\n100% of the XRT error circle.  No credible afterglow candidate has been found in \nthe initial data products to an estimated magnitude limit of u > 19.2.  No \ncorrection has been made for the expected extinction  corresponding to E(B-V) of \n0.03 mag. \n\nBurst Advocate for this burst is G.
