Sbarufatti (INAF-OAB/IASFPA),\nR. L. C. Starling (U Leicester) and G. Stratta (ASDC) report on behalf\nof the Swift Team:\n\nAt 15:35:29 UT, the Swift Burst Alert Telescope (BAT) triggered and\nlocated the previously-known source MAXI J1409-619 (trigger=439550). \nSwift slewed immediately to the source. The BAT on-board calculated\nlocation is \nRA, Dec 211.975, -61.988 which is \n RA(J2000) = 14h 07m 54s\n Dec(J2000) = -61d 59' 17\"\nwith an uncertainty of 3 arcmin (radius, 90% containment, including \nsystematic uncertainty). The BAT light curve shows nothing obvious\nas is typical for a 10-min image trigger. \n\nNo source was detected in the 2.5 sec promptly available XRT image. \nWe are waiting for the full dataset to detect and localise the XRT\ncounterpart. \n\nUVOT took a finding chart exposure of 87 seconds with the White\nfilter starting 1108 seconds after the BAT trigger. UVOT detected no\nnew source within the BAT error circle. \n\nThe GCN Notice sequence was complicated because of a 20-sec gap\nin TDRSS coverage (a hand-off from one TDRSS to the next satellite),\nso the initial BAT_Position message was lost, which was then immediately\nfollowed by a 14-min telemetry downlink pass for which the TDRSS messages\nare held on-board until the end of the pass. \n\nBurst Advocate for this burst is V. Mangano (vanessa AT ifc.inaf.it). \nPlease contact the BA by email if you require additional information\nregarding Swift followup of this burst. In extremely urgent cases, after\ntrying the Burst Advocate, you can contact the Swift PI by phone (see\nSwift TOO web site for information: http://www.swift.psu.edu/too.html.)",
