Kann (TLS Tautenburg)\nreport on behalf of the GROND team:\n\nWe observed the field of GRB 101219A (Swift trigger 440606; Gelbord et\nal., GCN #11461) simultaneously in g'r'i'z'JHK with GROND (Greiner et\nal. 2008, PASP 120, 405) mounted at the 2.2 m MPI/ESO telescope at La\nSilla Observatory (Chile).\n\nObservations started at 03:52 UT on December 19, 1.36 hours after the\nGRB, and have total exposure of 1501 s in g'r'i'z' and 1200 s in JHK.\nThey were performed at an average seeing of 0.8\" and at an average\nairmass of 1.13.\n\nWe do not detect a source within the XRT error circle reported by\nGelbord (GCN #11461) down to the following 3 sigma upper limits (all\nin AB):\n\ng' > 23.4\nr' > 23.6\ni' > 23.1\nz' > 23.2\nJ > 22.2\nH > 21.8 and\nK > 20.2\n\nThe given limits are derived based on calibrating the images against\nSDSS and 2MASS field stars and are not corrected for the\nGalactic foreground extinction corresponding to a reddening of\nE(B-V)=0.06 in the direction of the burst (Schlegel et al. 1998).\n\nOur limits are not deep enough to detect the host galaxy candidate\nfound in the optical (Perley et al., GCN 11464, Cenko et al., GCN\n11468) and the NIR (Chornock et al., GCN 11469).",
