  "body": "A.J. Levan (University of Warwick) reports:\n\n\"Inspection of DSS-II images of the region around GRB 110709B (Cummings\net al. GCN 12122) shows a faint optical source at a location of\n\nRA(J2000) 10:58:37.34\nDEC(J2000) -23:27:21.6\n\noffset 3.9\" from the centre of the XRT error circle (which currently\nhas a 5.3\", 90% confidence error).\n\nThe source is apparently also detected in USNO-A2.0, with reported\nmagnitudes of B=21.2, R=17.9 (although at this faint level the \nassociated errors are large). This source may be a quiescent counterpart\nof GRB 110709B, although could also be an unrelated background (or\nforeground) source. The probability of chance alignment with a \nsource with R~18 in this error region is ~1-2% (e.g. Bloom, Kulkarni,\nDjorgovski 2002, AJ 123, 1111)\"",
