Ukwatta (MSU)\n(i.e. the Swift-BAT team):\n \nUsing the data set from T-239 to T+2700 sec from recent telemetry downlinks,\nwe report further analysis of BAT trigger #501368 on SFXT IGR J08408-4503.\nThe BAT ground-calculated position is RA, Dec = 130.189, -45.120 deg, which is \n RA(J2000) = 08h 40m 45.5s \n Dec(J2000) = -45d 07' 13.2\" \nwith an uncertainty of 2.8 arcmin, (radius, sys+stat, 90% containment).\nThe partial coding was 61%.\n \nThe mask-weighted light curve shows emission from this source when the position\ncame in to the BAT FoV during a planned slew at T-120 sec. The flux showed\na mostly linear decay to half the initial observed value out to ~T+900 sec\nwhen it started to increase, peaking at ~T+1500 sec, and returning to zero\naround T+2500 sec. Any activity beyond this time is not known at this time.\n \nThe time-averaged spectrum from T+0.0 to T+64.0 sec is best fit by a simple\npower-law model. The power law index of the time-averaged spectrum is\n2.56 +- 0.50. The fluence in the 15-150 keV band is 2.9 +- 0.9 x 10^-07 erg/cm2.\nThe 1-sec peak photon flux measured from T+0.00 sec in the 15-150 keV band\nis 0.1 +- 0.0 ph/cm2/sec. The emission was soft throughout the 2700 sec\nof BAT observations. All the quoted errors are at the 90% confidence level. \n \nThe results of the batgrbproduct analysis are available at\nhttp://gcn.gsfc.nasa.gov/notices_s/501368/BA/",
