Mangano (INAF-IASFPA)\nreport on behalf of the Swift/UVOT team:\n\nThe Swift/UVOT began settled observations of the field of GRB 111016A\n188 s after the BAT trigger (Mangano et al., GCN Circ. 12439).\nNo optical afterglow consistent with the Enhanced Swift-XRT position\n(Evans et al., GCN Circ 12441) is detected in the initial UVOT exposures,\nhowever a marginal source is detected in followup observations in the\nUVOT white filter.  This position is consistent with the source observed by\nCenko et all (GCN Circ 12444).
