(IRAP-CNRS-OMP) report:\n\nWe imaged the field of GRB 120106A detected by SWIFT\n(trigger 511235) with the TAROT robotic telescope (D=25cm)\nlocated at the Calern observatory, France.\n\nThe observations started 169 min. after the GRB trigger,\njust at the beginning of the night over Calern.\nThe elevation of the field increased from\n52 degrees above horizon and weather conditions\nwere excellents.\n\nWe co-added a series of exposures. We did not found\nany optical counterpart in the error box of the XRT\ncandidate (Immler et al. GCNC 12810):\n\nStart    End       Rlim\n169 min  212 min   19.3\n\nMagnitudes were estimated with the nearby USNO-B1 stars\nand are not corrected for galactic dust extinction.\n\nThis message may be cited.",
