Iceland) report on\nbehalf of a larger collaboration:\n\nWe observed the field of GRB 120212A (Sonbas et al., GCN 12930) using\nthe 2.5m Nordic Optical Telescope (NOT) equipped with the ALFSOC\ncamera. We obtained 4x200s R-band images with a median time 19:52:24\nUT on 2012-02-12, i.e., 10.7 hrs after the BAT trigger.\n\nThe optical afterglow of this burst (Guidorzi et al., GCN 12932;\nHoversten et al., GCN 12933; Kawabata et al., GCN 12935; Kuin et al.,\nGCN 12940) was clearly detected in our stacked image and had R ~ 20.1\nmag calibrated with nearby stars in the USNO B1 catalog.",
