Palmer (LANL), M. H. Siegel (PSU) and\nM. Stamatikos (OSU/NASA/GSFC) report on behalf of the Swift Team:\n\nAt 05:33:38 UT, the Swift Burst Alert Telescope (BAT) triggered and\nlocated GRB 120311A (trigger=517469). Swift did not slew because of \nthe Earth limb observing constraint. \nThe BAT on-board calculated location is \nRA, Dec 273.087, +14.275, which is \n RA(J2000) = 18h 12m 21s\n Dec(J2000) = +14d 16' 32\"\nwith an uncertainty of 3 arcmin (radius, 90% containment, including \nsystematic uncertainty). The BAT light curve shows a single peak\nstructure with a duration of about 6 sec. The peak count rate\nwas ~5100 counts/sec (15-350 keV), at ~0 sec after the trigger. \n\nDue to an observing constraint, Swift will not slew until T0+50.1\nminutes. There will be no XRT or UVOT data until this time. \n\nBurst Advocate for this burst is C. B. Markwardt (Craig.Markwardt AT nasa.gov). \nPlease contact the BA by email if you require additional information\nregarding Swift followup of this burst. In extremely urgent cases, after\ntrying the Burst Advocate, you can contact the Swift PI by phone (see\nSwift TOO web site for information: http://www.swift.psu.edu/too.html.)",
