Ukwatta (MSU)\n(i.e. the Swift-BAT team):\n \nUsing the data set from T-239 to T+963 sec from recent telemetry downlinks,\nwe report further analysis of BAT GRB 120401A (trigger #519043)\n(Beardmore, et al., GCN Circ. 13182).  The BAT ground-calculated position is\nRA, Dec = 58.057, -17.658 deg, which is \n   RA(J2000)  =  03h 52m 13.8s \n   Dec(J2000) = -17d 39' 29.6\" \nwith an uncertainty of 2.5 arcmin, (radius, sys+stat, 90% containment).\nThe partial coding was 100%.\n \nThe mask-weighted light curve shows the burst was occuring when the location\ncame into the BAT FoV at T-100 sec during a preplanned slew.  There was a decline,\nthen a increase around T+0, and the a decline again returning to baseline\naround T+180 sec.  We are not quoting a T90 because we did not observe\nthe burst in its entirety.\n \nThe time-averaged spectrum from T-92.97 to T+52.72 sec is best fit by a simple\npower-law model.  The power law index of the time-averaged spectrum is\n1.66 +- 0.23.  The fluence in the 15-150 keV band is 9.1 +- 1.4 x 10^-7 erg/cm2.\nThe 1-sec peak photon flux measured from T-85 sec in the 15-150 keV band\nis 0.12 +- 0.04 ph/cm2/sec.
