Grupe (PSU) report on behalf\nof the Swift/UVOT team:\n\nThe Swift/UVOT began settled observations of the field of GRB 121212A\n72 s after the BAT trigger (Grupe et al., GCN Circ. 14064).  A source\nconsistent with the enhanced XRT position (Beardmore et al. GCN Circ.\n14066) is detected in the initial UVOT exposures.\n\nThe preliminary UVOT position is:\n   RA  (J2000) =  11:51:10.30 = 177.79292 (deg.)\n   Dec (J2000) = +78:02:14.3  =  78.03730 (deg.)\nwith an estimated uncertainty of 0.62 arc sec. (radius, 90% confidence).\n\nPreliminary detections and 3-sigma upper limits using the UVOT photometric\nsystem (Breeveld et al. 2011, AIP Conf.
