Boer, J-F Olive, and J-P Dezalay, on\nbehalf of the HETE GRB team, report:\n\nWe have refined the IPN error box of the short duration, hard spectrum\nGRB020531 (GCN 1402) to the following preliminary 3 sigma polygon with\napproximately 22 square arcminute area.
