Xavier Prochaska (UCSC), Josh Bloom (UCB), Antonino Cucchiara (UCSC),\nEleonora Troja (GSFC), Owen Littlejohns (ASU), Enrico Ramirez-Ruiz (UCSC),\nJosé A. de Diego (UNAM), Leonid Georgiev (UNAM), Jesús González (UNAM),\nCarlos Román-Zúñiga (UNAM), Neil Gehrels (GSFC), and Harvey Moseley (GSFC)\nreport:\n\nWe observed the field of GRB 130609A (Cummings, et al., GCN 14828) with the\nReionization and Transients Infrared Camera (RATIR; www.ratir.org) on the\n1.5m Harold Johnson Telescope at the Observatorio Astronómico Nacional on\nSierra San Pedro Mártir from 2013/06 9.15 to 2013/06 9.23 UTC (0.56 to 2.52\nhours after the BAT trigger), obtaining a total of 1.24 hours exposure in\nthe r' and i' bands and 0.60 hours exposure in the Z, Y, J, and H bands.\n\nFor a source within the Swift-XRT error circle, in comparison with SDSS DR9\nand 2MASS, we obtain the following upper limits (3-sigma):\n\n  r'    > 23.34\n  i'    > 23.27\n  Z     > 22.39\n  Y     > 21.91\n  J     > 21.72\n  H     > 21.06\n\nThese magnitudes are in the AB system and not corrected for Galactic\nextinction in the direction of the GRB.\n\nWe thank the staff of the Observatorio Astronómico Nacional in San Pedro\nMártir.",
