  "body": "INTRODUCTION:\nThe INTEGRAL mission will soon launch (Oct 02) and two of its instruments \nhave the ability to locate (or just detect) GRBs.  They expect 1-2 bursts/month\nwith a location uncertainty of <3 arcmin (radius) and with a time delay\nof 1-2 minutes.\n\nINTEGRAL and GCN:\nThere are 5 types of messages available from the INTEGRAL mission.  The GCN\nwill distribute these INTEGRAL messages.  You can get these messages\ndirectly from the INTEGRAL ISDC or you can get them through GCN.  There are\nseveral advantages to using GCN:\na) For socket sites, you only have to maintain a single socket connection.\nAnd there is no additional software involved.\nb) There is only one format.  For socket sites, the INTEGRAL-direct packet\nis 400 bytes (and the GCN packet is 160 bytes).  As part of the redistribution\nservice, GCN reformats the INTEGRAL information into the standard GCN\nformat -- this means the locations within the packet are in the standard\nlocations and that the information has been integerized (no need to understand\nfl.pt. conversions).  The date & time have also been converted to the standard\nGCN format.\nc) And there is e-mail format.  Currently, the only format available directly\nfrom the INTEGRAL machine is the Internet socket packet.\nGCN will generate the standard format & style email, pager, and cellphone\nmessages for the INTEGRAL messages.\nThe down-side to using GCN instead of INTEGRAL-direct is an increase\nin the time delay.  But this is small: 0.5-1.0 sec added onto the nominal\n1-2 min delay already from the INTEGRAL data telemetry & processing system.\n\nTEST NOTICES:\nIn addition to the 5 basic GCN/INTEGRAL types, Test Notice versions of each\ntype are also available (via sockets, email, pagers, etc).  These Test Notices\nare available immediately (even prior to launch).  They are issued every hour.\nSocket sites may wish to subscribe to these Test packets to develope\ntheir operations wrt to INTEGRAL prior to the October launch.\n\nFORMATS:\nFor the sockets sites, the table below shows the content & format\nof the 5 GCN/INTEGRAL packets.  For the complete details of these packets,\nplease see the \"Socket Packet Definition\" document:\nhttp://gcn.gsfc.nasa.gov/gcn/sock_pkt_def_doc.html\n\nThe 5 Notices in e-mail format are shown below; plus a couple of pager and\nshort-pager formats are also shown.  The rest can be found at:\nhttp://gcn.gsfc.nasa.gov/gcn/integral.html\n\nACTION ITEM:\nSites wishing to have these GCN/INTEGRAL Notices added to their sites's\nconfiguration need to send an email to scott@lheamail.gsfc.nasa.gov.\nPlease be sure to identify the site_name in your request (or at least \nsome piece of information that will help me identify you from the other 240+\nsites in the configuration file).  New sites are always welcome; and you\ncan learn about GCN and answer the 13 questions needed to create a new entry\nat  http://gcn.gsfc.nasa.gov/gcn/invitation.html.\n\nSincerely,\nScott Barthelmy\nGCN Operations\nNASA-GSFC\n301-286-3106\n\n\n\n\nType:  51            52           53           54             55\n       INTEGRAL_     INTEGRAL_    INTEGRAL_    INTEGRAL_      INTEGRAL_\n       POINTDIR      SPIACS       WAKEUP       REFINED        OFFLINE\nLoc:\n0      pkt_type      pkt_type     pkt_type     pkt_type       pkt_type\n1      pkt_sernum    pkt_sernum   pkt_sernum   pkt_sernum     pkt_sernum\n2      pkt_hopcnt    pkt_hopcnt   pkt_hopcnt   pkt_hopcnt     pkt_hopcnt\n3      pkt_sod       pkt_sod      pkt_sod      pkt_sod        pkt_sod\n4      trig_sub_num  trig_sub_num trig_sub_num trig_sub_num   trig_sub_num\n5      slew_tjd      burst_tjd    burst_tjd    burst_tjd      burst_tjd\n6      slew_sod      burst_sod    burst_sod    burst_sod      burst_sod\n7      -             -            burst_ra     burst_ra       burst_ra\n8      -             -            burst_dec    burst_dec      burst_dec\n9      -             det_flags    det_flags    det_flags      det_flags\n10     -             inten_sigma  inten_sigma  inten_sigma    inten_sigma\n11     -             -            burst_error  burst_error    burst_error\n12     test_mpos     test_mpos    test_mpos    test_mpos      test_mpos\n13     -             time_scale   time_scale   time_scale     time_scale\n14     next_sc_ra    -            sc_ra        sc_ra          sc_ra\n15     next_sc_dec   -            sc_dec       sc_dec         sc_dec\n16     -             time_error   time_error   time_error     time_error\n17     -             -            -            -              -\n18     -             -            -            -              -\n19     misc_att      misc_att     misc_att     misc_att       misc_att\n20-38  -             -            -            -              -\n39     pkt_term      pkt_term     pkt_term     pkt_term       pkt_term\n\n\n===========================================================================\nTITLE:          GCN/INTEGRAL NOTICE\nNOTICE_DATE:    Sun 01 Sep 02 18:08:03 UT\nNOTICE_TYPE:    INTEGRAL Wakeup\nTRIGGER_NUM:    0,   Sub_Num: 0 \nGRB_RA:           1.2037d {+00h 04m 49s} (J2000),\n                  1.2343d {+00h 04m 56s} (current),\n                  0.5630d {+00h 02m 15s} (1950)\nGRB_DEC:         +2.3323d {+02d 19' 56\"} (J2000),\n                 +2.3456d {+02d 20' 44\"} (current),\n                 +2.0539d {+02d 03' 14\"} (1950)\nGRB_ERROR:      1.02 [armin, radius, statistical only]\nGRB_INTEN:      11.34 [sigma]\nGRB_TIME:       43403.68 SOD {12:03:23.68} UT\nGRB_DATE:       12417 TJD;
