Melandri (INAF-OAB) report:\n\nThe 2-m Liverpool Telescope robotically followed up GRB 131030A (Swift\nTrigger 576238; Troja et al. GCN 15402) immediately after the GRB\ntrigger time.  The automated procedure detected an uncatalogued source\nat the location of the UVOT source. We confirm the fading nature of the\nobject with\n\nR = 16.9 � 0.2 mag (vs. USNOB1) 34.8 min after the burst.\n\nthereby confirming this as the GRB afterglow.\n\nObservations and analysis are ongoing.",
