Hartmann, Keith Davis,\nMark Leising (Clemson University)\n\nWe have observed the optical afterglow of GRB021004,\noriginally reported by Fox et al., GCN 1564, with the\nSARA 0.9m telescope at KPNO.  We obtained 16 300s \nexposures in the Johnson R band filter.  Observations\nbegan at 06:46:17UT, and ended at 08:09:02UT, on October \n9th.  The observations were carried out under good seeing\nconditions.  Aperature photometry was performed, and \ncalibrated utilizing standards reported by Henden et al.,\nGCN 1583.\n\nWe find a mean R magnitude of 21.2 +- 0.2\n\nMore information on the SARA Observatory can be found\nat http://www.saraobservatory.org/.\n\nThis report may be cited.",
