  "body": "M. Tanga, C. Delvaux and J. Greiner (all MPE Garching) report on behalf of\nthe GROND team:\n\nWe observed the field of GRB 140622A (Swift trigger 602278; D'Elia et al.,\nGCN #16433) simultaneously in g'r'i'z'JHK with GROND (Greiner et al. 2008,\nPASP 120, 405) mounted at the 2.2 m MPG telescope at ESO La Silla\nObservatory (Chile).\n\nObservations started at 09:40 UT on June 22, 2014, 0.07 hours after the\nGRB trigger. They were performed at an average seeing of 1.3 and at an\naverage airmass of 1.23.\n\nWe do not detect a source within the Swift-XRT error circle reported by\nD'Elia et al. (GCN  #16433) down to the following 3-sigma AB magnitudes:\n\ng' > 24.3 mag,\nr' > 24.3 mag,\ni' > 24.1 mag,\nz' > 24.1 mag,\nJ > 21.3 mag,\nH > 20.9 mag, and\nK > 19.4 mag.\n\nWe report the detection of a faint object at the border of the 2.6\"\nSwift-XRT error circle at coordinates\n\n   RA(J2000)  =  21:08:41.73\n   Dec(J2000) = -14:25:06.5\n\nThis object is detected in g', r', i', z' and J and there is no evidence\nof fading. Its estimated AB magnitudes are\n\ng' = 23.4 +/- 0.2 mag,\nr' = 23.4 +/- 0.2 mag,\ni' = 22.5 +/- 0.1 mag,\nz' = 22.2 +/- 0.1 mag, and\nJ = 20.9 +/- 0.3 mag.\n\nAt this time, we cannot assert that this object is the host galaxy of GRB\n140622A.\n\nThe given limits and magnitudes are derived based on calibrating the\nimages against GROND zeropoints and 2MASS field stars and are not\ncorrected for the Galactic foreground extinction corresponding to a\nreddening of E_(B-V)= 0.07 mag in the direction of the burst (Schlegel et\nal. 1998).\n\n[GCN OPS NOTE(22jun14):  Per author's request, the Subject line was corrected\nfrom \"140422A\" to 140622A\".]",
