Ukwatta (LANL)\n(i.e. the Swift-BAT team):\n \nUsing the data set from T-239 to T+963 sec from the recent telemetry downlink,\nwe report further analysis of BAT GRB 160501A (trigger #684679)\n(Cummings, et al., GCN Circ. 19365).  The BAT ground-calculated position is\nRA, Dec = 286.389, -17.249 deg which is \n   RA(J2000)  =  19h 05m 33.2s \n   Dec(J2000) = -17d 14' 54.8\" \nwith an uncertainty of 1.8 arcmin, (radius, sys+stat, 90% containment).\nThe partial coding was 81%.\n \nThe mask-weighted light curve a broad peak starting from T-80 sec, peaking \nat T+50 sec and ending at T+90 sec.  T90 (15-350 keV) is 118 +- 19 sec \n(estimated error including systematics).\n \nThe time-averaged spectrum from T-54.3 to T+72.6 sec is best fit by a power law\nwith an exponential cutoff.  This fit gives a photon index 0.6 +- 1.3, \nand Epeak of 28 +- 9 keV (chi squared 54.26 for 56 d.o.f.).  For this\nmodel the total fluence in the 15-150 keV band is 9.5 +- 1.3 x 10^-7 erg/cm2\nand the 1-sec peak flux measured from T-54.38 sec in the 15-150 keV band is\n0.5 +- 0.2 ph/cm2/sec.  A fit to a simple power law gives a photon index\nof 2.4 +- 0.2 (chi squared 63.09 for 57 d.o.f.).
