Hagen (PSU) reports on behalf of the Swift/UVOT team:\n\nThe Swift/UVOT began settled observations of the field of GRB 160712A\n3998 s after the BAT trigger (Hagen et al., GCN Circ. 19684). No\noptical afterglow consistent with the XRT position (Beardmore et al.,\nGCN Circ. 19690) or the possible optical afterglow candidate (Kruehler\net al., GCN Circ. 19693; Troja et al., GCN Circ. 19695) is detected in\nthe initial UVOT exposures. Preliminary 3-sigma upper limits using the\nUVOT photometric system (Breeveld et al. 2011, AIP Conf.
