Zwolinska (NCBJ)\nreport for the POLAR collaboration:\n\nAt 2016-12-07T05:22:44 UT (T0), during a routine on-ground \nsearch of data, POLAR detected the GRB 161207B, \nwhich was also detected by the Fermi/GBM (trigger 502780971/161207224).\n\nThe POLAR light curve consists of a single peak,\nwith a duration (T90) of 12.5 s measured from T0-0.94 s .\nThe 1s peak rate measured from T0+4.00 s is 151.3 cnts/s,\nThe total counts is about 713 cnts. The above measurements are\nin the energy range of about 80-500 keV.\n\nLC_URL: \nhttp://polar.ihep.ac.cn/grb/2016/GRB161207B/lc/POLAR_lc_grb161207224.jpg\n\nUsing the best location from the Fermi/GBM, which is (J2000):\nRA:    294.810     [deg]\nDec:    -9.930     [deg]\nErr:     18.01     [deg]\n\nthe incident angle in POLAR coordinate at T0 is:\ntheta:  60.7  [deg]\nphi:   -66.0  [deg]\n\nThe analysis results presented above are preliminary.\n\nPOLAR is a dedicated Gamma-Ray Burst polarimeter (50-500 keV) on-board\nthe Chinese space laboratory Tiangong-2 launched on Sep 15, 2016.
