Zhang (IHEP),\nreport on behalf of the Insight-HXMT team:\nDuring the commissioning phase, at 2017-09-12T23:38:12.600 (T0),\nInsight-HXMT/HE detected GRB 170912C (trigger ID: HEB170912984)\nin a routine search of the data, which was also observed by\nFermi/GBM(trig #526952297).\nThe Insight-HXMT light curve consists of a single pulse\nwith a duration (T90) of 0.067 s measured from T0+0.010.\nThe 10-ms peak rate, measured from T0+0.041 s, is 8298.5 cnts/sec.\nThe total counts from this burst is 354 counts.\nURL_LC: http://www.hxmt.org/images/GRB/HEB170912984_lc.jpg\nAll measurements above are made with the CsI detectors operating in the\nregular mode with the energy range of about 80-800 keV (record energy).\nOnly gamma-rays with energy greater than about 200 keV can penetrate\nthe spacecraft and leave signals in the CsI detectors installed inside\nof the telescope.\nThe analysis results presented above are preliminary;\nfinal results will be published elsewhere.\nInsight-HXMT is the first Chinese space X-ray telescope, which was funded\njointly by the China National Space Administration (CNSA) and the Chinese\nAcademy of Sciences (CAS).
