Zach Golkhou (U. Wash.), and Vicki Toy (UMD) report:\n\nWe observed the field of GRB 171020A (Page, et al., GCN 22028) with the\nReionization and Transients Infrared Camera (RATIR; www.ratir.org) on the\n1.5m Harold Johnson Telescope at the Observatorio Astronmico Nacional on\nSierra San Pedro Mrtir from 2017/10 21.16 to 2017/10 21.50 UTC (4.60 to\n12.98 hours after the BAT trigger), obtaining a total of 5.30 hours\nexposure in the r and i bands and 2.20 hours exposure in the Z, Y, J, and H\nbands.\n\nWe detect the NOT optical transient (Malesani, et al., GCN 22029), which\ncontinues to fade (see also, Moskvitin, et al., GCN 22031). In comparison\nwith the USNO-B1 and 2MASS catalogs, we obtain the following detections and\nupper limit (3-sigma):\n\n r = 22.91 +/- 0.12\n i = 22.76 +/- 0.11\n Z > 21.44\n Y = 21.72 +/- 0.35\n J = 21.54 +/- 0.23\n H = 21.69 +/- 0.35\n\nThese magnitudes are in the AB system and are not corrected for Galactic\nextinction in the direction of the GRB.\n\nWe thank the staff of the Observatorio Astronmico Nacional in San Pedro\nMrtir.",
