Wash.), and Vicki Toy (UMD) report:\n\nWe observed the field of GRB 180823A (Sbarufatti, et al., GCN 23169) with\nthe Reionization and Transients Infrared Camera (RATIR; www.ratir.org) on\nthe 1.5m Harold Johnson Telescope at the Observatorio Astron��mico Nacional\non Sierra San Pedro M��rtir from 2018/08 24.14 to 2018/08 24.19 UTC (8.40 to\n9.45 hours after the BAT trigger), obtaining a total of 0.40 hours exposure\nin the r and i bands and 0.29 hours exposure in the Z, Y, J, and H bands.\n\nFor a source within the Swift-XRT error circle (Evans, et al., GCN 23170),\nin comparison with the SDSS DR9 and 2MASS catalogs, we obtain the following\nupper limits (3-sigma):\n\n r > 22.20\n i > 22.05\n Z > 20.84\n Y > 19.72\n J > 20.45\n H > 19.12\n\nThese magnitudes are in the AB system and are not corrected for Galactic\nextinction in the direction of the GRB.\n\nWe thank the staff of the Observatorio Astron��mico Nacional in San Pedro\nM��rtir.",
