Kawakubo (LSU)\nreport on behalf of the MAXI team:\n\nThe MAXI/GSC nova alert system triggered a bright uncatalogued X-ray\ntransient source at UT 2019/04/08 18:06:19.\nAssuming that the source flux was constant over the transit,\nwe obtain the source position at\n(R.A., Dec) = (47.342 deg, 1.758 deg) = (03 09 22, +01 45 28) (J2000)\nwith a statistical 90% C.L. elliptical error region\nwith long and short radii of 0.52 deg and 0.22 deg, respectively.\nThe roll angle of long axis from the north direction is 145.0 deg\ncounterclockwise.\nThere is an additional systematic uncertainty of 0.1 deg (90%\ncontainment radius).\nThe X-ray flux averaged over the scan was 189 +- 35 mCrab\n(2.0-4.0keV, 1 sigma error).\nWithout assumptions on the source constancy, we obtain a rectangular error\nbox for the transient source with the following corners:\n(R.A., Dec) = (46.050, 1.531) deg = (03 04 11, +01 31 51) (J2000)\n(R.A., Dec) = (46.579, 0.646) deg = (03 06 18, +00 38 45) (J2000)\n(R.A., Dec) = (48.900, 2.032) deg = (03 15 35, +02 01 55) (J2000)\n(R.A., Dec) = (48.371, 2.917) deg = (03 13 29, +02 55 01) (J2000)\nThere was no significant excess flux in the previous transit at UT 16:33\nand in the next transit at UT 19:39 with an upper limit of 20 mCrab for each.",
