During this time period IceCube was collecting good\nquality data.\nThe search is a maximum likelihood analysis which searches for a generic\npoint-like neutrino\n source coincident with the given GW skymap [2].\n\nOne track-like event is found in spatial and temporal coincidence with the\ngravitational-wave\ncandidate S190728q calculated from the map circulated in the 4-Initial\nnotice. This\nrepresents an overall p-value of 0.03 (1.84 sigma).\n\nAn earlier search (GCN 25185) based on preliminary information of S190728q\nyielded no significant\np-values for the worse GW localization [3].\n\n\nProperties of the coincident events are shown below.\n\n dt ra (deg) dec (deg) Angular Uncertainty(deg)\n p-value(generic transient)\n----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------\n -360 312.87 5.85 4.81\n 0.039\n\n\nwhere:\ndt = Time offset (sec) of track event with respect to GW trigger.\nAngular uncertainty = Angular uncertainty of track event: the radius of a\ncircle\nrepresenting 90% CL containment by area.\np-value = the p-value for this specific track event\nRA & Dec = Right ascension and declination in degrees quoted in J2000 epoch\n\nThe IceCube Neutrino Observatory is a cubic-kilometer neutrino detector\noperating at the\ngeographic South Pole, Antarctica.
