Cusumano\n(INAF-IASF PA) report on behalf of the Swift-XRT team:\n\nThe XRT began observing the field of GRB 191019A at 16:06:04.5 UT,\n3210.9 seconds after the BAT trigger. Using promptly downlinked data we\nfind an uncatalogued X-ray source with an enhanced position: RA, Dec\n340.0244, -17.3286 which is equivalent to:\n RA(J2000) = 22h 40m 05.86s\n Dec(J2000) = -17d 19' 42.9\"\nwith an uncertainty of 3.1 arcseconds (radius, 90% containment). This\nlocation is 49 arcseconds from the BAT onboard position, within the BAT\nerror circle. This position may be improved as more data are received;\nthe latest position is available at http://www.swift.ac.uk/sper. We\ncannot determine whether the source is fading at the present time. \n\nA power-law fit to a spectrum formed from promptly downlinked event\ndata gives a column density in excess of the Galactic value (3.28 x\n10^20 cm^-2, Willingale et al. 2013), with an excess column of 3.5\n(+2.44/-3.29) x 10^22 cm^-2 (90% confidence).",
