Woods, S. Patel (USRA,\nNSSTC), M. McLaughlin (Jodrell Bank), R. Fender (U. Southampton) report\non behalf of a larger team:\n\nWe observed the soft gamma-ray repeater SGR 1806-20 with the Australia\nTelescope Compact Array (ATCA) using five 6-km baselines on January 6,\n2005 (0530-0730 UT and 1930-2130 UT) and on January 7, 2005 (0430-0500\nUT). Preliminary flux levels, are as follows (the number in parentheses\nindicates the 1-sigma uncertainty in the last significant figure):\n\nFrequency Flux (Jan 06.26) Flux (Jan 06.77) Flux (Jan 07.20)\n (GHz) \t(mJy)\t (mJy) (mJy)\n--------- ------------ -------------- -----------------\n 1.4 103(2)\t 90(2) 86(3)\n 2.4\t\t68(2)\t 66(2) 54(1)\n 4.8 45(2) 38(1)\n 6.1 30(2)\n 8.6 23(1)\n\nThere is clear evidence for a spectral break from the first two of the\nabove epochs, possibly decreasing to lower frequencies as a function\nof time.",
