Rau (MPE Garching) report:\n\nWe observed the field of the short GRB 211106A (Tohuvavohu et al., GCN\n31049; D'Elia et al., GCN 31051; Ridnaia et al., GCN 31054; Fletcher,\nGCN 31055; de Wet et al., GCN 31063) centered at the location of the\nX-ray source #2 (D'Elia et al., GCN 31051, 31068) with GROND mounted\nat the 2.2m MPG telescope at La Silla Observatory (Chile).\n\nInside the XRT error circle of 'Source #2' no object is detected.\nAt a midtime of November 9, 2021, 02:10 UT, we measure the following\n3-sigma AB upper limits:\n\ng' > 24.8,\nr' > 25.0,\ni' > 24.0,\nz' > 22.0,\nJ  > 21.7,\nH  > 21.1,\nK  > 19.8.\n\nMagnitudes are calibrated against the SkyMapper catalog (Wolf et\nal., 2018, PASA 35, e010) in g'r'i'z' and 2MASS field stars in JHK\n(Skrutskie et al., 2006, AJ 131, 1163).\n\nWe thank Paul Eigentaler for excellent support and for performing\nthe observations.",
