Gehrels (GSFC), report on behalf of the Swift XRT \nteam:\n\nThe Swift XRT observed the field of the HETE burst GRB050408 (Sakamoto \netal. 2005, GCN 3189) at 17:05:18 UT.  We find a bright fading uncataloged \nX-ray source located at:\n\nRA(J2000) = 12:02:17.4,\nDec(J2000) = +10:51:03\n\nWe estimate an uncertainty of about 6 arcseconds.   This source is located \n78 arcseconds from the HETE SXC-Ground position in GCN 3189.",
