TITLE: GCN CIRCULAR NUMBER: 33726 SUBJECT: GRB 230506A: Fermi GBM Final Real-time Localization DATE: 23/05/06 05:18:49 GMT FROM: Fermi GBM Team at MSFC/Fermi-GBM The Fermi GBM team reports the detection of a likely LONG GRB At 05:08:16 UT on 6 May 2023, the Fermi Gamma-ray Burst Monitor (GBM) triggered and located GRB 230506A (trigger 705042501.650442 / 230506214). The on-ground calculated location, using the Fermi GBM trigger data, is RA = 296.1, Dec = 20.4 (J2000 degrees, equivalent to J2000 19h 44m, 20d 23'), with a statistical uncertainty of 1.6 degrees. The angle from the Fermi LAT boresight is 35.0 degrees.
