TITLE: GCN CIRCULAR NUMBER: 33767 SUBJECT: GRB 230511A: Fermi GBM Final Real-time Localization DATE: 23/05/11 11:25:42 GMT FROM: Fermi GBM Team at MSFC/Fermi-GBM The Fermi GBM team reports the detection of a likely LONG GRB At 11:15:05 UT on 11 May 2023, the Fermi Gamma-ray Burst Monitor (GBM) triggered and located GRB 230511A (trigger 705496510.691274 / 230511469). The on-ground calculated location, using the Fermi GBM trigger data, is RA = 145.0, Dec = 1.7 (J2000 degrees, equivalent to J2000 09h 39m, 1d 42'), with a statistical uncertainty of 16.0 degrees. The angle from the Fermi LAT boresight is 35.0 degrees.
