TITLE: GCN CIRCULAR NUMBER: 33769 SUBJECT: GRB 230511B: Fermi GBM Final Real-time Localization DATE: 23/05/11 13:19:01 GMT FROM: Fermi GBM Team at MSFC/Fermi-GBM The Fermi GBM team reports the detection of a likely LONG GRB At 13:08:30 UT on 11 May 2023, the Fermi Gamma-ray Burst Monitor (GBM) triggered and located GRB 230511B (trigger 705503315.71883 / 230511548). The on-ground calculated location, using the Fermi GBM trigger data, is RA = 222.9, Dec = -7.7 (J2000 degrees, equivalent to J2000 14h 51m, -7d 42'), with a statistical uncertainty of 1.2 degrees. The angle from the Fermi LAT boresight is 75.0 degrees.
