TITLE: GCN CIRCULAR NUMBER: 33778 SUBJECT: GRB 230512A: Fermi GBM Final Localization DATE: 23/05/12 11:59:08 GMT FROM: R. Hamburg at CNRS/IJCLab The Fermi GBM team reports the detection of a Short Bright GRB. At 06:27:45 UT on 12 May 2023, the Fermi Gamma-ray Burst Monitor (GBM) triggered and located GRB 230512A (trigger 705565670/230512269). The on-ground calculated location, using the Fermi GBM trigger data, is RA = 277.62, Dec = +53.87 (J2000 degrees, equivalent to J2000 18h 30m, +53d 53'), with a statistical uncertainty of 1 degree. The angle from the Fermi LAT boresight is 26 degrees.
